We are excited to welcome Billy Hinson, former professional football player for the Denver Broncos and current Director of the Amanda Ranch.
About Billy:
Billy Hinson grew up in Northeast Florida and developed a lifelong love for the outdoors while hunting and fishing with his father. A standout athlete at Hilliard High School, Billy earned All State honors and became Florida’s state weightlifting champion before accepting a full football scholarship to the University of Florida.
At Florida, Billy lettered from 1982 to 1984 and played on the historic Great Wall of Florida offensive line, helping lead the team to its first SEC Championship. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 1985 and later played for the Atlanta Falcons before retiring from the NFL.
After football, Billy spent more than thirty-three years in national account sales with a Fortune 500 company. Saved at a young age, he credits everything in his life to the Lord and shares a powerful testimony of trials, hope, and God’s faithfulness. Billy now serves as Director of The Amanda Ranch in Waterflow, New Mexico. He and his wife Wendy have four sons.

The Sportsman’s Banquet is an annual community outreach event hosted by Celina Baptist Church and held at Cross Oak Camp near Celina Ohio. It is a family friendly evening designed especially for outdoorsmen, families, and community members to come together for great food, fellowship, outdoor themed giveaways, and an encouraging Christian message. The event also serves as a fundraiser to help support local youth attending church camp.

Doors open at 4pm, and the meal is served at 6pm.

Yes. Tickets are $20 when purchased online and $25 at the door. Early registration is encouraged to help us prepare enough seating and meals for everyone attending the Sportsman’s Banquet.
